Mechanics of structures

Theory of structures is a field of knowledge that teaches us the effect of loads (forces) on structures. A structure in this context is generally regarded to
be a system of connected members that can resist a load. Therefore in some programs,
theory of structures is also referred to as structural analysis or mechanics of structures.

This helps us understand how different bodies behave under the application of different kinds of loads or forces and how these forces are applied . It also helps us to understand how our spaces can be brought to life. We have to know if the spaces need to be arranged differently from what was planned to make it more stable .
