Initial stage
We started exploring the curvilinear forms through different mediums. Each of us entered the process through different words- chaos, distortion, endless connections, overlapping and enclosed
Conceptual sketches
Merging the two words chaos and distortion and also having the the site in mind we started thinking in the direction of forms which takes place in the sea , thinking of structure as play of light and shadow . Also to figure out how to give two very descriptive words structure and also into an experience .
Experiential sketches
After having a fair idea of how the structure would take place , we dove down to how each area within the structure would take place and what type of programs of play could fit in through various sketches .
Design development
These are sections of conceptual rhino models which was derived from the initial words , also experimenting with how and what kind of programs will take place within the structure

Long section
So through this section how different programs take places within the structure is showcased and how play is initiated .
Taking inspiration from the wind chimes and the urge of running your fingers through them, this space was created where we could run and make path along this life size bamboo chimes creating an sensorium of excitement, curiosity and sound .
Again taking advantage of the structure height an installation has been added which made up of connections of mesh intriguing play and physical activity.
The middle area is just for the parents to let loose while the children engrossed in the act of play
Short section
With constant play at different levels and what possibility it gives. This section shows the inner part of the viewing deck. even in the library, we have followed a curvilinear line. where coves become sitting spaces and shelves which form into steps that lead to these coves. the viewing deck also allows to experience the openness of the sea. to initiate play, slides and swings are added , which also create interaction with the sea. Also as an addition to playing, a trampoline area is incorporated .
